What is Carverix?
Carverix is a US vehicle data lookup service. We provide instant access to NHTSA vehicle records, title history, market valuations, and vehicle provenance checks (stolen, lien, salvage). Simply enter a VIN to get started.
Where does the data come from?
We source data from official government APIs: the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) for vehicle and safety data, and NMVTIS (National Motor Vehicle Title Information System) for title records. For Full and Premium reports, we also use licensed commercial data providers for specifications, valuations, images, and provenance checks.
How quickly will I receive my report?
Instantly. As soon as your payment is confirmed, your report is generated and displayed on-screen. You'll also receive a copy by email within minutes.
Is the free preview really free?
Yes, completely free. Enter any VIN and you'll see basic vehicle information at no cost. No payment details are required to view the preview.

How long can I access my report?
Your report remains accessible online for 30 days via the unique link provided. You also receive an email copy that you can keep permanently.
What is the NMVTIS check?
The NMVTIS (National Motor Vehicle Title Information System) check searches multiple databases for records of theft, outstanding liens, and salvage titles. It is essential due diligence when purchasing a used vehicle.
Is my payment and data secure?
Yes. All connections use SSL/TLS encryption. We never see or store your payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
Do you check vehicles from all states?
Yes, we can look up vehicles registered in any US state, as well as vehicles with a valid 17-character VIN.
What if the data in my report is wrong?
We relay data directly from official government sources (NHTSA, NMVTIS) and licensed commercial providers. We do not modify this data. If you believe there is an error, we recommend contacting the relevant data source directly. See our Data Disclaimer for more information.
